Any Feedback?
Thanks! Good feedback. I'll add a calendar to our list of improvements.
Any feedback on the site? Things you like or don't like? Things that are weird?

That's awesome! We need a special t-shirt for him!
Wonder if we should separate the sort options into 2: Most Liked Most Active Most Active would be based on comments/views. Most Liked would tie just to votes? Probably too many different sorting options, eh? Mike

Since moving to San Antonio, we've been attending the church where Max Lucado is pastor - Oak Hills. If anyone is interested, they broadcast the services each Sunday. Just visit their website and click on the live stream link at the top.
Here's how the recent activity indicators work. When you come back to the site, we put a flower next to every conversation (thread) that has had new activity SINCE YOUR LAST VISIT. Right now, the flower stays even after you read the conversation. I...
Made the following changes: You can upload pictures now (if you meet certain criteria). Added some quick smiley shortcuts. Fixed some bugs with the last updated dates. Changed the verbiage that indicates how long ago something posted. Added indicators ...
Merry Christmas! Hope everyone is having a great day!
All the smilies work...If you look at the bbcode reference, you'll get all the codes. I just haven't hooked up the easy buttons for them yet.
Picture uploading Better Facebook integration Smilies Easier way to post cool links & videos Edit profile picture (might bring back the old avatars) Search Ignore user feature Troll detection & reporting Maybe some type of Christian news featur...
Just a quick post to let you know we're aware of all the issues around sorting and activity indicators (eg cues to let you know what's new). I have them all fixed, but I'm on vacation in FL and forgot to bring my server key so I won't b...

My favorite is the NIV Study Bible. I recently bought the NIV Archaeological Study Bible and like it a lot. Mike
Yes! Though I do like commercials that are clever or feature a really cool music clip (I've found some good songs that way...Pepsi, Geico, E-Toys, University of Phoenix, Apple...) But most are sleepers...thank goodness for the DVR! Mike
Being an ardent McCain fan, I will go to bed that night pretty bummed. But then I'll wake up the next morning, have some breakfast, get the kids ready for school, kiss the wife and head into work. Mike
Definitely the latter! Mike
I've got no issue with tatoos, faith based or otherwise. I'd get one, but my wife isn't crazy about them. Maybe one day I'll just surprise her! Mike

Except, I didn't believe. I was merely trying to convince myself that I did. I can very much relate to that. I'm reminded of Mark 9:24 - "Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, 'I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!'"...
I don't know enough about economics to comment intelligently on the bail out. But 2 things really burn me up about this whole mess: 1. Don't spend money you don't have. 2. Don't seek a profit if you're not adding value. Mike
I'm for McCain because: 1. You can't "spin" more than 5 years in a POW camp. Especially refusing to leave out of order. That's real character. 2. His temper. I know that's strange, but I like his passion. 3. He works with people...
Dress code? You're kidding. I work for Apple in Central Texas. That's awesome. I work for a small software company. We used to have no dress code, but now that we've grown a bit, I have to wear jeans and shoes. Bummer! Of course, when I wo...

One of my favorites... "The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters, but the fountain of wisdom is a bubbling brook." - Proverbs 18:4 Mike

I think it's easy to romanticize the past, but my opinion is that things haven't changed all that much. In fact, I would say we're very fortunate to be living in the times we do. Of course, I know many people around the world can't say ...
Oh man...late to the party as always. Happy Birthday!! Mike
